The prestigious American University of Harvard and that of East Anglia in England jointly investigated the role of flavonoids in reducing the risk of erectile dysfunction, more than common in men with age. Flavonoids are antioxidants found naturally in some plant-based foods or drinks… so the wine. This study tends to demonstrate the beneficial role of these substances, accompanied by specific physical exercises to delay the onset of the disorder.

To carry out this study, the two research teams interviewed more than 50’000 people - men, otherwise it wouldn't make sense - middle-aged in 2000, then 2004 and finally 2008 on their erectile capacities or disabilities. Some men must have delved into their memories to go back to 1986… Researchers also learned about the diet of guinea pigs - men, not the animal - at each meeting. The study shows that a suitable diet was able to fight both erectile dysfunction and brisk walking during 5 hours each week.
