You love summer like everyone else and you want to drink a good, good rosé - very - fresh ? So, you should enjoy this recipe straight from the United States. Indeed, The Frosé - the mixture of the words frozen and rosé - is a rosé cocktail, fruits, ice cubes and sugar. The result looks like a granita. To make this little fresh recipe, prefer a fruity wine with a dark robe.

To prepare a Frosé, you need :

  • A gratin dish of about 30×20 cm
  • 1,75 liter of rosé
  • 120 g sugar
  • 125 ml of water

  • 73 ml fresh squeezed lemon juice.
  • 85 g strawberry syrup
  • 150 g crushed ice

The preparation

To begin, pour the rosé into your gratin dish and place it in the freezer for 6 hours. So, the wine will be almost solid - alcohol prevents the rosé from becoming completely solid —.

Then, in a pot, mix the sugar with 125 ml of water and bring everything to a boil. Stir regularly until the sugar dissolves. Count a few minutes and remove from the heat. Then, add the strawberries to your mixture. Let the strawberries steep 30 minutes.

Then, Put the mixture in a carafe or glass jar and place it in the freezer 30 minutes, until the consistency has thickened. Finally, take the mixture out of the freezer, mix it again in a blender until it takes on the consistency of a granita. And There you go, you can enjoy your frosé by the pool !
