The revolution is on… Finally, This is what is announced. A small group of inventors from Brooklyn have found a solution to modify a wine with a simple silicone badge so that it becomes an acceptable red. In normal times, making a wine mature takes time, a lot of time and very often we find ourselves drinking it too early.
How does this technology work?

Different wavelengths in the electromagnetic spectrum, such as UV rays and visible light exist all around us. When these energy waves come in contact with the badge, the material inside the badge acts as a catalyst which absorbs them and then emits them as infrared condensate. The infrared then penetrates into the wine and stimulates the wine molecules (like acids, phenols, or sugar) colliding against each other at an extremely fast pace, causing chemical reactions. This would therefore reduce what normally happens over long periods of time., without stimulation, in only 5 minutes.

The badge is reusable at least a hundred times and can be used on red wine as well as on white, but does not work on sparkling wines. According to the inventors, unfortunately this technology would not work on your children either, so there is no need to purchase any for this purpose.
When can we try it ?
One thing is certain, it is not for now… Currently, the project is looking for funding on Kickstarter and if all goes well the first Elevies should be distributed in October in the United States and the announced price is 38 $. According to the inventors, the only solution that will let us know if it works is to buy one and test it.

The funding target for this project was not met in October. Out of 10’000 $, only 47 people have contributed to collect with difficulty 2,239 $.
However, the inventors have nevertheless embarked on the adventure and offer on the site elevie.com the famous gadget. Originally planned at 38 $, the badge is passed to 29,99 $.
